- Prepare the Glasses
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rims into coarse salt or sugar. Set aside in the freezer while blending the drinks.
- Blend the Margarita
- In a high-speed blender, combine frozen strawberries, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice. Blend until smooth and slushy.
- Taste & Adjust
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired — add more lime juice for tang or syrup for sweetness.
- Serve
- Pour into the chilled glasses and garnish with lime wedges and strawberries.
Notes
Chef’s Tip
• For a mocktail version, replace tequila and triple sec with orange juice and sparkling water.
• For a tropical twist, use mango, pineapple, or watermelon instead of strawberries.
• To make a “swirl” margarita, blend half the mixture with a tablespoon of grenadine and pour both colors into the glass side by side for a beautiful two-tone effect.
