  • 2 cups 300 g cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix or 2 tablespoons homemade*
  • 8 oz 225 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup 240 ml sour cream
  • 1 cup 240 ml milk or heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups 150 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup 50 g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • For Topping:
  • ½ cup 50 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices bacon crumbled (optional)
  • 2 green onions chopped

Method
 

  1. Directions
  2. Preheat the Oven
  3. Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Cook the Pasta
  5. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  6. Make the Sauce
  7. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, milk, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  8. Add the Good Stuff
  9. Stir in shredded chicken, cooked bacon, and 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese. Add the cooked pasta and toss until everything is well coated.
  10. Assemble the Bake
  11. Pour mixture into the prepared dish. Top with mozzarella, remaining cheddar, and a sprinkle of bacon.
  12. Bake
  13. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  14. Serve
  15. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Chef’s Tip
• Homemade ranch seasoning: combine 1 tsp each of dried dill, parsley, and chives; ½ tsp each garlic powder, onion powder, and salt; ¼ tsp black pepper.
• For extra richness, stir in ¼ cup of heavy cream before baking.
• To make it spicy, add 1–2 tablespoons buffalo sauce or diced jalapeños.
• Great for meal prep — it reheats beautifully and freezes well for up to 3 months.
