- Make the Filling
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold in the sliced berries.
- Prepare the Bread
- Spread about 2 tablespoons of the filling on one slice of bread, then top with another slice to make a sandwich. Repeat with remaining slices.
- Mix the Batter
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Preheat the Pan
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a little butter to coat the surface.
- Dip & Cook
- Dip each “sandwich” into the egg mixture, soaking for about 5 seconds per side. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp.
- Serve
- Cut diagonally and serve warm with powdered sugar, maple syrup, and extra fresh berries on top.
